Election
Credit Union members believe in “people helping people.” What better way to help our communities on the local and national level than exercising our right to vote? Credit Union members comprise 44% of all registered voters nationwide. If every credit union member voted, they would have a dramatic impact on local, state and national elections. The credit union voice would be heard loud and clear. Make your vote matter! Please remember to vote in the primary July 20th and on November 2nd. For more information on candidate, issues and important dates, please visit http://www.abccreditunion.org/ and click election watch.

***Fraudulent Telephone Calls***
Fort Gordon Federal Credit Union management would like to make each of members aware of fraudulent telephone calls that have been reported. It was brought to our attention yesterday, May 24, that many of our members have been contacted by someone saying they were from Fort Gordon Federal Credit Union. One of the numbers associated with this fraud is 504-551-4583. Members have also been receiving text messages wanting information from people who say they are from Visa. These fraudulent calls have been stating that your card has been captured due to fraud activity. They then request that you enter your account number to have your card reactivated. These calls have been coming in after business hours and have been reported as being a recording.
Again these calls are not coming from Fort Gordon Federal Credit Union nor any company associated with FGFCU. Please do not give this “person” any of your information! To know that it is really the credit union calling we would ask for you to verify information and not to give it to us. If you have any questions please contact us at 706-793-0012 to speak with a member service representative.
